Arts in the park

Arts in the Park returns to Macken Park in North Kansas City, Missouri, for it’s tenth year celebration! This festival is a vibrant two-day celebration of local creativity and community spirit. Featuring 60 talented artists and makers from across Kansas and Missouri, this festival showcases an impressive mix of fine art and handcrafted goods.

Visitors can enjoy live music, roaming performances, a lively Beer Garden, and a Kid’s Zone complete with bounce houses, a petting zoo, and more. This year, the festival expands its cultural offerings with live performances and cuisine from countries and cultures represented by the Kansas City Ethnic Enrichment Commission—bringing the sights, sounds, and flavors of the world to the heart of North Kansas City.

Arts in the Park also champions the next generation of creatives through its Youth Art and Entrepreneurship Program, giving young artists a platform to exhibit and sell their work.

Admission is free and open to the public, making this a perfect weekend outing for families, art lovers, and festivalgoers alike.
