KC Ethnic Enrichment performances - Saturday, June 14 - 11AM-5:30PM

Get ready for a vibrant showcase of stage performances representing a rich tapestry of countries and cultures, all brought to you by the Kansas City Ethnic Enrichment Commission! From captivating traditional dances to electrifying musical acts, this diverse array of performances will transport you across the globe, celebrating the beauty and richness of global cultures right here in North Kansas City.

Grupo Quimbaya KC- Main Stage at 1:30 Pm

Representing Colombia, Grupo Quimbaya KC will be taking the main stage on Saturday at 1:30 PM. They are educating, entertaining and celebrating Colombia through folkloric dance in Kansas City, Missouri & Kansas.

Riya Roks, See-hah-ms Company - main stage at 3:30 pm

Representing Egypt, Riya Roks, See-hah-ms Company is thrilled to share the joy and dance with audiences of all ages and backgrounds. They will take the main stage on Saturday at3:30 pm.

Island Style Productions - Main stage at 11 AM

Representing Tahiti, Island Style Productions will be kicking off the EEC performances starting at 11 am on the main stage on Saturday. Island Style Productions is a Polynesian dance group that teaches Polynesian dance in Blue Springs, Missouri. They are in affiliation with the Tahitian Association of Kansas City.

Republic of China/Taiwan - Main Stage at 2 Pm

Representing the Republic of China/Taiwan, these dancers will be taking the stage at 2 PM.

Chilanka School of Dance- Main Stage at 4:30 PM

Representing India, dancers from the Chilanka School of Dance will be taking the main stage at 4:30 PM. They will be doing three different dances that will tell different stories about Hindu deities.

Schuhplattler Verine Blautaler- Main Stage at 12:30 PM

Representing Germany, Schuhplattler Verine Blautaler will be taking the stage at 12:30 PM. This authentically attired Schuhplattler group presents unique and energetic entertainment in traditional German folk dance style.

Indonesia- Main Stage at 3pm

Representing Indonesia, these dancers will take the main stage at 3 PM.

Sinag-Tala Dance Troupe- Main Stage at 5pm

Representing the Philippines, the Sinag-Tala Dance troupe will be taking the main stage on Saturday at 5 pm. The Sinag-Tala Dance Troupe was established in 1972 as the signature cultural extension of the Filipino Association. Since then it has actively performed at community events, cultural festivals, schools, churches, and private functions throughout Kansas City. The original founders have passed on the responsibility to preserve and promote this part of Filipino culture to a new generation of young dancers.
